ANNOUNCING
Governor Daniels has signed a the proclamation recognizing the Silver Star Flag and Banner as the Official symbol for the wounded of Indiana.

Endorsement from IN Dept of Veterans Affairs

When you first contacted me, I asked the Big Four service organizations (Legion, etc.) if they had any problem with Indiana adopting the Silver Star Flag as the flag for the wounded and the response was a unanimous endorsement. I informed the Administration and they follow through with the signing.
I would be honored to be a part of the official ceremony.

Charles T. "Tom" Applegate
Director, Indiana Dept. of Veterans Affairs
