The new Advisory Board officially began on Dec. 10, 2008 with six (6) members.  Discussion has been on how to educate people and families on PTS, and about New Service Dogs.

"From what I have seen I would highly recommend that we expand the Advisory Board.   They have already contributed a lot.   I have learned about service dogs, PTS, their concerns and their troubles.   They even arranged for the intereview today.  I am impressed with the Board and Sunshine"

Response to Proposed Study to Establish the SSFOA Silver Star Banner as a "Service" Banner was entered into the minutes.
