Welcome children!
As you may know there are a lot of people in the world that don’t like the United States.
But we can go to school and work and live our lives in peace and freedom because our friends, the Soldiers, protect us from people that would harm us.
Some of them get hurt or sick watching over us and because of what they do for us we want to remember and honor them.
There is a lot you can do to help. You can write letters or sends cards to the ones in the hospital. You can collect your pennies and nickels to buy them Silver Star Banners.
But the most you can do is remember. Remember what freedom costs and those who pay for that freedom.
